FAQ

Questions Traders Ask Before Their First Challenge.

Does this guarantee I'll pass my challenge?

No. Any tool that promises guaranteed passing is lying. Guardian prevents the discipline failures that cause most failed challenges: breaching daily loss, exceeding max drawdown, revenge trading after losses. You still need a working strategy and sensible risk management. Guardian protects the structure. Your trading provides the edge.

Does Guardian place trades or modify my entries?

Guardian is a monitoring and enforcement tool. It does not open trades, modify your entry prices, or change your strategy. It only acts when a rule is about to be broken: closing positions that would breach a limit, or blocking new trades when a limit has been reached.

Can I use this on a funded account, not just the challenge?

Yes. Most prop firms enforce the same or stricter rules on funded accounts. Guardian works on Phase 1, Phase 2, and Funded accounts. Switch phases with one input change.

What happens when a limit is hit?

Depends on your settings. Guardian can close all open trades and block new ones, close only losing trades, or block new entries while keeping current positions open. You configure this per module. The panel shows exactly which limit triggered and what action was taken.

When Guardian blocks a trade, do I lose anything?

When Guardian closes an unauthorized trade, the spread cost of that trade hits your P/L. This is typically a few cents to a few dollars depending on the pair and lot size. For example, the spread on a blocked 0.10 lot EURUSD trade costs roughly $1. Guardian closes the trade the moment it opens, before price moves against you, so the spread is the only cost. Compare that to the trade it just prevented, which could have cost you the entire challenge. The spread is the smallest possible cost of protection.

My prop firm isn't FTMO, The5ers, MyFundedFX, or FundedNext. Can I still use this?

Yes. Select the Custom preset and enter your firm's daily loss limit, max drawdown, profit target, and other parameters manually. The enforcement engines work identically regardless of which preset loaded the values.

Can I run Guardian alongside other EAs?

Yes. Guardian monitors all trades on the account regardless of which EA or manual action opened them. It runs alongside any trading EA, signal copier, or manual trading. The only exception: do not run Guardian alongside HC Shield, as both enforce the same protection rules.

What if I lose my license key?
