Install Any EA in 3 Steps.

These steps apply to ALL HustlCraft EAs. Follow once for each EA you purchased.

Download your EA file

After purchase, you receive an email with your .ex5 file and your license key. Download the .ex5 file to a location you can find (e.g., Downloads folder). File names look like: HC_SignalCopier.ex5

Open your MT5 Data Folder

In MT5, click File in the top menu, then Open Data Folder. A Windows Explorer window opens. This is NOT the installation folder - it is where MT5 stores your personal files.

Copy the .ex5 file to Experts folder

In the Data Folder, navigate to: MQL5 > Experts. Copy your .ex5 file into this folder. Do NOT put it in Indicators, Scripts, or any other folder.

Refresh the Navigator panel

In MT5, press Ctrl+N to open the Navigator. Right-click Expert Advisors and select Refresh. Your EA should appear. If not, restart MT5.

Enable AutoTrading and WebRequest

A) Click the AutoTrading button in the toolbar - it must be green.
B) Go to Tools > Options > Expert Advisors. Check Allow WebRequest for listed URL. Add: https://api.hustlcraft.com.ng

Attach the EA to a chart

Open a chart (e.g., EURUSD). In the Navigator, find your EA under Expert Advisors. Double-click or drag it onto the chart. A properties window opens.

Configure and enter license key

Common tab: Check Allow Algo Trading.
Inputs tab: Enter your license key in the LicenseKey field. Format: HC-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX. Configure other inputs per the product guide. Click OK.

Verify the EA is running

Check top-right of your chart for the EA name with a blue hat icon. Check the Experts tab (Ctrl+T) for "License active" confirmation. If you see errors, check the troubleshooting section below.

WebRequest is required If you skip the WebRequest step, the EA cannot validate your license. You will see "License validation failed" in the Experts tab.

When MT5 Misbehaves. Fix It Here.

Common MT5 issues that affect any EA, not just HustlCraft products.

EA not appearing in Navigator after copying the file
Cause: File is in the wrong folder or MT5 hasn't refreshed.
Fix: Confirm the .ex5 is in Data Folder > MQL5 > Experts (not Indicators or Scripts). Right-click Expert Advisors in Navigator > Refresh. If still missing, restart MT5 completely.
EA shows gray icon / not trading
Cause: AutoTrading is disabled globally or for this EA.
Fix: Click AutoTrading button in toolbar (must be green). Right-click chart > Expert Advisors > Properties > Common tab > check Allow Algo Trading. Check Tools > Options > Expert Advisors > Allow Auto Trading.
"Trade is not allowed" error (error 4109)
Cause: Trading permission disabled at one or more of three levels.
Fix: Three levels must all be enabled: 1) Global AutoTrading button (green). 2) EA-specific: right-click chart > EA Properties > Allow Algo Trading. 3) Broker-level: some brokers/account types disable algo trading. Contact your broker if the first two are correct.
WebRequest error 4060
Cause: EA is trying to contact a URL not whitelisted in MT5 settings.
Fix: Tools > Options > Expert Advisors > check "Allow WebRequest for listed URL" > Add: https://api.hustlcraft.com.ng > OK. Remove EA from chart and re-attach.
"Not enough money" / margin error
Cause: Insufficient free margin for the requested lot size.
Fix: Reduce lot size or RiskPercent. Close some open positions. Check broker margin requirements for the symbol. Some brokers increase margin during news events.
"Invalid stop loss" / "Invalid TP" error
Cause: SL/TP too close to current price (inside broker's stop level).
Fix: Check minimum stop level: Market Watch > right-click symbol > Specification > Stop Level. Increase your SL/TP distance. Brokers may widen stop levels during volatility.
EA disappeared after MT5 update
Cause: MT5 updates can reset data folder or require EA re-attachment.
Fix: Check if .ex5 is still in Experts folder. If not, re-copy it. Refresh Navigator. Re-attach EA to chart. Your license is still valid.
Hedging vs Netting account issue
Cause: You are on a Netting account. HustlCraft EAs require Hedging.
Fix: Check account type: Navigator > Accounts > right-click > Properties. If "Netting", contact your broker for a Hedging account or open a new demo with Hedging mode.

License Not Working? Start Here.

Issues specific to HustlCraft license activation and validation.

"License validation failed" on EA startup
Cause: WebRequest not configured, internet issue, or incorrect key.
Fix: 1) Confirm WebRequest is enabled with URL https://api.hustlcraft.com.ng. 2) Check internet connection. 3) Verify key is entered exactly as received, no extra spaces. 4) Check Experts tab for specific error from server.
"Terminal limit reached" - cannot activate
Cause: License already activated on 3 terminals.
Fix: Each key allows 3 terminals. If you decommissioned a machine: use the Reset Terminals function on the thank-you page, or email support@hustlcraft.com.ng with your license key.
"Wrong product" - license rejected
Cause: Using a key purchased for a different EA.
Fix: Each key is bound to its product. Check your purchase email for the correct key. HC Ultimate Bundle keys work for ALL products.
"License revoked" message
Cause: License deactivated (e.g., after refund).
Fix: Contact support@hustlcraft.com.ng with your email and order details.
EA stops working after 7 days without internet
Cause: Offline grace period expired.
Fix: Reconnect to internet and restart the EA. It will re-validate and resume. For VPS users: check your VPS connection. Need a reliable VPS?

Copier Issues. Most Common Fixes.

Copier running but no trades placed
Cause: No active signals, relay not returning data, or margin issue.
Fix: Check Experts tab for poll messages. Verify the HustlCraft Telegram channel has recent signals. Check account margin. Confirm internet is stable.
Trade copied with different lot size than expected
Cause: Proportional lot sizing adjusts based on your balance vs source.
Fix: This is normal. Adjust RiskPercent to change lot sizes. Formula: Your lot = Source lot x (Your balance / Source balance) x RiskPercent.
Trade not closed when signal source closed
Cause: Copier was offline when close signal arrived.
Fix: Run on a VPS for 24/7 operation. Get a VPS from Hyonix. You can manually close the trade. The Max DD Guardian serves as a backstop.
"OrderSend failed" with error code
Cause: Broker rejected the trade.
Fix: Common codes: 10004 (Requote, will retry). 10006 (Rejected, check broker). 10010 (Invalid price). 10014 (Invalid volume). 10019 (Not enough money). Check Experts tab for exact code.

Protection EA Not Triggering? Check These.

Applies to Auto SL/TP Enforcer, Daily Loss Limiter, Loss Streak Breaker, Max DD Guardian, and Prop Firm Guardian.

Protection EA didn't trigger when expected
Cause: Threshold not reached, or calculation method differs from expectation.
Fix: Check Experts tab for current readings. Verify input parameters. DD Guardian uses peak equity, not starting balance. Daily Loss uses midnight server time, not local time.
EA closed all trades unexpectedly
Cause: A protection threshold was breached.
Fix: Check Experts tab for the trigger message. Common causes: sudden market move (news), daily loss hit during Asian session, multiple losses triggering Loss Streak Breaker. This is the EA working as designed.
Multiple protection EAs conflicting
Cause: Two or more EAs trying to close the same trades.
Fix: This is safe. MT5 handles concurrent close requests gracefully. First EA closes the trade, second sees "already closed" and skips. No double-closing occurs. The EAs are designed to stack.
